HAPPY YOU'RE HERE!...
I am so happy you are taking the time to invest in you or your loved one's musical growth! I am confident that as I bring with me years of training, experience and the expertise of technical singing and piano playing, you will start to see results even after the first lesson! With 10+ years coaching and 15+ years professionally performing, I have seen what it takes to get someone to the next level and I know how to get my students there! Now it's just time to unlock their full potential...
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY...
I make it a goal with every lesson to always be kind, knowledgeable, disciplined, encouraging-yet-challenging to get you reaching your goals quickly in a healthy way and with a fun learning environment. Having received my musical degree in vocal performance with advanced study in classical training and technique, I have truly learned the ins-and-outs of the human voice and anatomy, and because if this, I am not limited to teaching only one singing style or genre. With piano, I bring with me my love of playing the instrument for over 20 years!
Utilizing a well-established, detailed, and advanced proven method of technique, I help my students achieve their own personal goals. For singing we can cover the style of pop, classical/opera training, musical theatre, jazz, folk, worship, or all of the above! For piano, I do not limit my students to classical pieces alone, but give a well-rounded educational approach that makes piano fun, engaging, while also being thorough enough to even sight-read classical pieces on the spot!
While I personally love the classics, I am a firm believer that all genres of music hold their own significance in the world of music, and as your teacher, I will encourage you to find your own style(s) of music making that makes you shine and grow in confidence!
DREAM BIG...
I have shared the stage with Tory Kelly, Andrea Bocelli, John Williams, David Foster, Deborah Voigt, the LA Philharmonic and the Pacific Symphony, and have performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, La Madeleine (in Paris, France), and Disneyland. I have also sung extensively in LA jazz houses, regional musicals, operas, in the recording studio, and have worked for the LA Opera. I have sung in over 15 languages, while covering a multitude of genres from pop to jazz to classical to Persian-folk! I have competed and placed in national competitions, and have been lucky enough to have been awarded several singing scholarships and prizes.
And I have learned what it takes to succeed as a musician, and....

...to impart all of what I have learned as a performer on to my students, so that they too can watch their dreams become a reality!
